Wedding Photo Book Ideas

Your wedding day will probably be the most glamorous day of your life. Pictures can start while you are getting your hair done and they don't end until the couple leaves the reception that evening. If you're lucky enough to have a professional photographer at your wedding, he/she will manage the pictures during your wedding day and will undoubtedly take some fantastic shots that you will treasure forever. All depending on the photographer, packages will range from albums, to printed pictures or to a CD that you can use to make your own wedding album.

If you don't choose to get an album from your photographer, you can still make your own Coffee Table quality Wedding Album. A CD with the pictures will give you the best quality, but scanning is still certainly an option. Many of the photo book publishers have samples on their sites. 11x8.75 Wedding Book

OurHubbub has two different Wedding Theme Books: Modern and Traditional. Each design starts with a set of colors, backgrounds, frames and stickers. The designs are fully customizable and you can change backgrounds and photo frames, arrange and resize photo boxes, add text, select font color and size and add or delete stickers. You can get the cover with or without the photo cut-out. From $34.99 (22 pages)

PhotoWorks

11.5x8.5 Wedding Books

Photoworks has two wedding book covers. Clematis - this book features a favorite photo on the front cover, back and on the title page. Damask Wedding Memories - this book also has coordinating guest books, invitations, and thank you cards. You can add text to all of the pages of both these books as well as to the spine. You are also able to customize the photo layout, but the templates are not customizable. The price for a 20 page book starts at $39.95.

New Flush Mount Wedding Books from Picaboo

Picaboo was one of the first publishers to come out with a higher quality book to put wedding pictures into.

The flush mount books are said to be of the highest quality in the wedding album industry. The flush mount books are printed on Kodak Endura silver halide paper and mounted to the page boards - they are not printed on pages like their photo books. These books are created using a completely different process and set of machines.

Each book cover is genuine leather and comes in six colors. They come in two sizes - 11x8.5 and 14x11, both in landscape orientation. The book holds anywhere from 12 to 90 pages and the pages lay completely flat and extend across the entire page.

You can also add cover stamping to any Flush Mount Album. Two lines of text can be added at the lower right hand corner of the album in black, gold, silver or an emboss with no foil. Page edge gilding adds a special touch to the thick flush mount pages. You can choose from black, gold or silver edges.

If you are not completely satisfied with your album, Picaboo will refund your purchase fully.

Other Publishers

While other Publishers have different wedding themes available, the ones we've listed above were the only ones we could find with special Wedding Book covers. Of course, most other publishers have the following standard covers available:

A linen cover with or without a die-cut window. Different colors available for each publisher.

A Leather Cover. Standard colors are black, brown and burgundy

A printed cover with your photo on the front and/or back.

A dust jacket with photos on the front and/or back.
