JPG as backgrounds
by: Linda

A JPG is a common file format that is used with digital cameras. When you download the pictures to your computer they are usually in JPG or JPEG format. When you are designing a photo book many people would like to use a particular picture as a background on the page. An example would be a background picture of your cruise ship and placing photos of those activities on top of it.

Some of the software provided by photo book printers will let you place your own pictures as a background. This includes Picaboo, Digilabs, Scrapblog, MyCanvas, OurHubbub, RocketLife, Mixbooks, Smilebooks, AdoramaPix, Turning Pages, Blurb, Printmyphotobook, dotPhoto, RitzPix, Artscow, SeeHere, and Lifephoto.
