A Overview of FujiFilm's SeeHere Photo Books

As far as doing a SeeHere review, I can really only go over half of their service, as FujiFilm's SeeHere photo books give you two different ways to make your digital photo album.

When you make your own photo book with SeeHere, you can use the online version or use the downloadable SeeHere Desktop that is a hefty 248 MB. The original review of this photo book printer was on the downloadable software. I am having trouble getting that software to load on my computer, so this SeeHere review is only based on the online version of the software.

SeeHere Photo Book Tutorials

If you are new to making photo books you might want to watch the available tutorials that cover most of the process you will undergo while making a book. Additional help is available via email, and it took a day to get a response to my question. So a bit faster than some photo book printing services, but a bit slower than the some of the major players, like Picaboo or Shutterfly.

SeeHere's PhotoBook Software

Of course, one of the most important elements of any SeeHere review is an overview of their software and its usability. In this case, I used the online software options. The online software gets the job done, but is not that much fun to work with. The picture sorter is way too intrusive, and I still can't figure out how to add more than one picture to the book at a time.

Most of the 'complaints' about the software that you find in my SeeHere review are minor and do not affect the quality of the book you can make-- however, they do affect the experience and the feeling of usability. It's just not as much fun to make your own photo book here as it is at some other sites.

A Plus: In-Book Editing

One of the best features with SeeHere photo books is the in-book editing option. There is a very functional picture optimizer that will clear up many of the problems that your pictures might have-- it provides simple and easy-to-use photo editing while you're actually IN your book. You don't have to do all of your photo editing ahead of time. Very nice!

My Conclusions

SeeHere is relatively new, and has recently been heavily advertised on TV and in print. They're just getting started in the market, compared to some of the longer-standing photo book printers. So I would bet that there will be continual improvements to the site. So I'll be checking back and updating my SeeHere review soon!
