RocketLife Quality is Low

by C. Chan
(Thornhill, Ontario, Canada)

RocketLife photobook quality is not good in spite of their excellent software. The first book arrived and showed very dull and dark pictures, indications of poor colour match and general QA. The back cover binding was already beginning to rip with the stitches showing.

The replacement book arrived with some improvement but still way shy of a photography grade print I was expecting. The graininess showed more like mediocre magazine quality print. Again, the colour of all the pictures lacked vividness and were still at least a couple of shade too dark. The binding was flimsy by design and in my opinion would not withstand the test of time. Finally, the advertised size of a 8.5" x 11" book measures only 8" x 11" when arrived, which is 0.5" smaller than those supply by other vendors that I have seen.

All in all, a very disappointing end product for the premium price.
