Qoop Photo Book Software
A key part of this Qoop review is an overview of the software you'll use to make your own photo book. Which is, in a word, simple. The photo book software at Qoop is very simple to use, and you are given very few choices. You have a few cover design options, and then you decide if you want 1, 2, 4, 6, or 20 photos on a page. That's it: simplicity is the name of the game here.
Qoop Photo Book Options
These are simple books and are great if you would like to create a "proof book". You would do this by choosing to have picture titles shown, just make sure you title the pictures in such a way so you can locate your pictures on your computer. If you are not making a proof book but want a simple book with a lot of pictures, name the photos with a brief caption so that you will be able to identify what/who/where the picture is taken.Mini Book Option: There is also the option to make a small book (smallest size of 3.75x2.5). These are great little gifts and make great mini baby brag books, but they do come in packs of 2, 3, or 4 depending on the size of the book. You can't get just one.
Volume Discounts: However, if you want to give a lot of your custom digital photo books as a gift, there are substantial volume discounts available.
Our Opinion about Qoop
Qoop does poorly in the photo book feature set review because they only offer plain and simple books at a good price. If you are looking for a plain and simple book that takes little effort on your part you might want to consider this photo book printer.
If, however, you're looking to make a family photo album or a digital photo memory book with fun backgrounds and different layouts on each page, you won't find what you're looking for at Qoop, and will be better off using a photo book printer like Shutterfly (review here) or Picaboo (review here).
