Personalized Children's Books

Personalized children's books can take a couple of forms as Shutterfly demonstrates with their "adventure" books. Shutterfly Adventure Books are story books where you can add pictures on the predesigned layouts of the book. To me, they are more of a "background" book, but I'm not going to argue with what Shutterfly calls them. You can personalize the book's hard cover with favorite photos and a title. Add text details to the spine - i.e. date and author. There's a minimum of 20 pages, but you can add up to 80. Across 20 pages, you could display from around 30 to 100 photos.

These are the titles of the adventure books and can be found by going to photo books and they are listed under ideas: Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, SpongeBob SquarePants, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Thomas & Friends and Angelina Ballerina.

Center Stage Books

Center Stage Books are also personalized children's books that fall under the "adventure" category at Shutterfly, and rightfully so as your child becomes the main character in these adventure story books. These are books that you select only one favorite "face" picture (check the guidelines at Shutterfly for choosing the picture) that will be featured on the cover and in every scene throughout 38 full color pictures. You'll enter basic information that will be automatically woven into the story, including your child's name, birthday and hometown. You can also add an optional dedication that appears on the title page.

The Center Stage books are a little more difficult to find, but if you go to the Shutterfly site, then go to Products, they are listed under there. Easier yet, we've put a banner on the bottom of the page or the earlier link to get there faster. The Center Stage books currently being offered are: SpongeBob and Me: Super Detectives, Diego and My Zebra Rescue, Dora and My Rescue Adventure, My Happy Day on Sesame Street, My Adventure on Sesame Street and My Amazing Alphabet Adventure.
