Our Hubbub

Our Hubbub is the most pleasant program in the new publisher group. They have a wide array of templates suitable for many occasions - and they specialize in team sports. You can change almost anything you want on any of the pages. This includes adding or deleting text boxes and adding or deleting pictures. About the only thing you can't change on a page is any heading or phrases that exist on the template pages. For instance, a page had "Charting our Course", and you could not change that title. There are some areas to put your own text. You have the ability to delete these titles, but not edit them. That is the only thing I found in Our Hubbub that I didn't like.

The only issue I had was that I was working with images provided by a photographer and I wasn't able to use those images in the smaller image boxes. You were allowed to crop them, but you couldn't shrink them (or, if you could it was not apparent to me how to do that).

It is easy to change the background in Our Hubbub. They have many that you can choose. You can also add an image to most pages and change the shape and size. The only time you cannot add pictures to a page is when you have chosen a full-page image. Added pictures just replace this image.

They have some great choices for covers -- there are some preprinted with different images that fit their templates, so you can get a unique cover for less price.

Another unique feature is they have a group workspace where you can develop a photo book with a group. This is excellent especially if you are creating a team yearbook and need pictures and input from multiple sources.

The prices for these books are based on 22 pages, all other publishers use 20 pages as their base book size.
