I Need to Find a Publisher with Flexible Layouts

I have made books on iPhoto before. This time, the photos are extremely important... The cropping is essential and placement on the page is critical.... iPhoto does not allow me to crop my own photos and place on page... they and most other sites I've visited have prearranged stencils to fit your photos in .... Do you have or know of a company that has the ability to take my photos as I crop them and place them where I want on the page?

No Smiles With SmileBooks

I loved SmileBooks software and ease of use. They have so many flexible layouts and backgrounds that it is hard to choose. Their books, if perfectly printed, are awesome. The pictures are National Geographic quality, the binding is superb.

However, that is where the good ends. I have uploaded two books. The first had 16 pages corrupted and the second had 51 pages corrupted out of a 130 page book.

I have been working with their customer service both in Germany (where the books are printed and shipped) and the U.S. office in New York.

At first, I was to blame. My pictures were corrupted before upload. I emailed a number of my original files and the last word was that my files were fine and they have no idea what corrupted my book. They have refunded what I paid for both books and gave me a 30% coupon to use for another book. I'm not sure I want to try again.
