Meaning of full page bleed
by: Linda

Bleed printing is having the image printed from side to side without a border - covering the full page and 'bleeding' off the sides. To achieve this most printers have the original image actually larger than the page and trimming 1/8" off the image when preparing.

So, if you have a picture that you want to be printed on the whole page without a border be sure there is no important information or images in the 1/8" bordering the picture.
